Arusha - Tarangire - Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara
Itinerary: 7 Days Safari, exploring the famous North of Tanzania

Day 1: Arusha
Meet upon arrival in Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to hotel in Arusha.

Day 2: Tarangire NP
We will be on our way to Tarangire National Park right after breakfast. It takes us 1.5 hours to get there. Tarangire is famous for its big population of elephants, it's big cats and the huge Baobab trees. If we are lucky, we'll come across tree-climbing pythons. After game viewing we will proceed to Mtu wa Mbu for dinner and overnight in our Campsite/Lodge.

Day 3 - Serengeti NP
After breakfast we are on our way to Serengeti, meaning 'endless plains' in Maasai language. And endless they are - so we have an en route game drive as we approach Serengeti National Park. We can see lions, cheetahs, gazelles and while the famous migration we will view millions of wildbeests grazing. Depending on the season we will head to the best place for game viewing - there are so many destinations within Serengeti. In the late afternoon we'll arrive in our accomodation in Seronera and go on a sunset game drive. Dinner and Overnight in Seronera Camp/Lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti NP
After breakfast we got two options. We'll either go on a full-day game drive or split our day into a morning game drive and another one towards the evening to see predators in their active time of the day. We will have a wonderful wildlife day and be back for Dinner and Overnight in Seronera Camp/Lodge.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Oldupai Gorge, Maasai Boma
We'll leave Serengeti after breakfast and head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On our way we will stop at Oldupai Gorge. It's a fascinating archeological site. The most famous skull found here belongs to Zinjathropus, known as 'Nutcracker Man'. He lived about 1.75 million years ago. We will visit also the museum nearby showing 3.6 million year old footprints in volcanic rock. After visiting the site we will continue to go south. We'll pass by a Maasai village and if you are interested in Maasai culture, we can stop and visit the 'Boma' - as this type of settlement is named. Towards the evening we'll arrive at the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for Dinner and Overnight in the Lodge/Campsite.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Equipped with a picnic lunch we enter the famous crater. Let's explore this Garden of Eden. Ngorongoro is a huge and deep volcanic crater. There's rich pasture, swamps, forest and permanent water on the crater floor. That's why wildlife here is so diverse and numerous. There are up to 25.000 larger animals living here. It'd the best opportunity to see Black Rhino and many other rare species like the black-manned lion. We'll have a marvellous day. Dinner and Overnight in the Camp/Lodge.

Day 7:  Lake Manyara NP
After breakfast we depart for Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara is one of the most diverse of Tanzania's National Parks. A thin green band of forest, flanked on one side by the cliffs of the Rift Valley Wall, on the other by the shores of the ancient soda lake. We'll see hundreds of baboons and if we're lucky - the famous tree-climbing lion. Lake Manyara is also one of the finest parks for birdlovers. Our last game drive will be very rewarding. In the afternoon we will go back to Arusha. You will have seen Tanzania's Northern Circuit and it's wildlife at its best and carry fantastic pictures and memories back home.
