Five days in their natural habitat
Day 1 KIGOMA
We'll arrive in Kigoma by safari vehicle, train or eventually by flight. There is an airport shuttle service to our accomodation. We'll have time to make ourselves familar with the surroudings. Dinner will be served at our accomodation.
Day 2 GOMBE STREAM . RESEARCH CENTER
After an early breakfast we depart to Gombe National Park by boat. We start by visiting the research center for chimpanzee and studies of wild chimpanzee population there. We'll have a very interesting day. Dinner will be served at our accomodation.
Day 3 GOMBE STREAM . CHIMPANZEES
Right after breakfast we go on a full-day game view at the park. We climb to the waterfalls and lunch at the bush land. We spend the afternoon watching chimpanzee. We're in the perfect place: The longest running wildlife observation program on the planet is running here. It was started in 1960s by the British naturalist Jane Goodall. The chimpanzee study is now in its sixth generation.
We return for dinner to our accomodation.
Day 4 GOMBE STREAM . JANE'S PEAK
We spend the morning game viewing at the park and climb to the Jane's peak there. Having enjoyed the view from above we go for lunch to Sang'ara restaurant and stay overnight in tents at an idyllic campsite.
Day 5 DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the campsite we have to get ready for the departure.
Most probably we'll take an early morning flight to Arusha or Dar es Salaam.
You w
ill have had a fantastic time with the chimps and return home with precious memories and photos.
